MoyER
Moyer began his professional music career in 1990, performing with cover bands throughout central Florida. He later moved to Montgomery, Alabama, where he joined McQueen Street and their side project The Rat Race, signed under EMI Records. During breaks from touring, Moyer contributed as a session drummer for Grammy-winning producer Sebastian Krys at Gloria Estefan’s studio in Miami.
After his time with McQueen Street, Moyer relocated to Los Angeles, where he established himself as a sought-after touring and session drummer. He frequently recorded at Lavish Studios—owned by Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots—collaborating with STP producer Doug Grean.
Eventually settling in Las Vegas, Moyer became a fixture on the Strip, performing with a wide range of artists including:
Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel
Dave Navarro
Gilby Clarke
Always the Enemy
Words As Weapons
Paul Shortino
Dirty Pairadice
Currently, Moyer is working with Plush Velvet, a project that promises to be an exciting new chapter in his dynamic and diverse musical journey.
