Brix
Lead Vocal
Brix
Brix began his professional music career in 1999 when signing with RCA Records in his band Skrape. His role was wide reaching as he was a main songwriter, guitar player, keyboard player, and main backing vocalist for the band.
After two records, Skrape disbanded, and Brix joined another Nu Metal band called Dope (Sony, V2 Records) as the bass player from 2004-2007.
During this time period (1999-2008), Brix appeared in national and world-wide publications such as Hit Parader, Metal Edge, Guitar World, and more. He also appeared on MTV and guest hosted on Sirius XM.
In the late 2000s, Brix performed as a fill in for several high profile artists such as:
Slaughter (lead guitar)
Ra (bass guitar)
Wednesday 13 (bass guitar)
Fall of Envy (lead singer)
Brix has since written and recorded many songs in various studios around the world and continues to pursue his passion in music. Through all of this, he has been told over the years that he looks and sounds like Velvet Revolver & Stone Remple Pilot’s Scott Weiland when he sings. Brix has always thought about starting a tribute as Velvet Revolver’s & Stone Temple Pilot’s lead singer, but was always otherwise engaged in other pursuits. Alas, the hour has finally arrived.
