Frequently Asked Questions
We’ve got some cool shows lined up over the coming months. Each one is slightly different as we try to adjust the setlist to the atmosphere of the venue and crowd. Fans get all the big hits, heavy cuts and a Stone Temple Pilots-like energetic set. And there are also some surprises we’re preparing for so don’t miss it!
We want fans to walk away knowing they’ve just felt something raw. We want to introduce them to what it was like to see STP in person when they were at their best. Be it the raw force of the song or the sheer ferocity of the stage show, we want people to think they were transported back in time. We’d also like to get the older crowds into STP’s music so they can hear just how relevant and meaningful it still is
There is no other goal than authenticity. Even as we remain true to the sound of STP, we bring our own swagger to the table. We want tribute bands to have both the feel of the original band and the new experience. "So we pay attention to a lot of the specifics, just like with Scott Weiland’s voice or the guitar sound, but we also try to bring our energy and enthusiasm to each show which keeps things exciting for us and the crowd.
It’s tough to say just one, but "Plush" is a no-brainer. It’s like such a universal hit and it’s so full of the crowd vibe every time we get on it. You have a way of starting everything that just seems so chilling, and yet so intense. It’s like, that’s the point where we’re able to connect with them, and when you hear people singing along, it gives us goosebumps.
One of the best things is that we study a lot about the first band’s live show — old videos, old records, eavesdropping on how they all shifted around on the stage. We also have a loyal fanbase who post stories and we can stay active with the STP community. There is something new about every show because we are powered by the crowd.
Scott Weiland had a phenomenal range of voice and we study his performance and heartfeltness for a lifetime. Although we can’t be Scott, we strive to capture his lyricism and rawness (check out "Plush" and "Interstate Love Song"). It’s something we hope people have that same aural affinity for the songs Scott played
Any fan coming to see us, you’ll be able to watch a high-energy show just like Stone Temple Pilots. We want them to feel like they’re part of an STP show, with classics, roots, and even a little surprise. We want people to walk away with the same energy and sense of nostalgia that they experienced when STP was hot.
Yeah! We have some more shows lined up in the coming months, a few in larger venues that will truly enable us to do a full STP. You can see our complete tour schedule on the website and follow us on social media for any late lane or event announcements.
We try to mix in some fan favorites along with a couple surprises. We play songs that set STP’s career on its head ("Plush", "Vaseline", " Creep"), but also a few slower tracks and songs that make it easy to connect with the listener. "The playlist changes based on the crowd, and we never like to let the house down.
‘We’re listening to every little thing from getting Scott Weiland’s unique vocal delivery down to how much guitar work goes into the instruments. We’re trying to give fans the sense of being in the arena at a STP show. The performances are all action packed, crafted to send listeners back to the 90’s.
